As of October 01, 2013 the Fire Danger Level in Stevens County Fire District No.1 has been moved from High to LOW.  Due to the increasing moisture within the region, falling temperatures and higher relative humidity more rain within the long range forecast the Department of Natural Resources have lowered the fire danger level. Open burning is ALLOWED throughout the fire district boundaries with the exception of any area within the Urban Growth Areas (UGA’s) where burning of any kind (Except Recreational) is PROHIBITED!
